Enfardo es una obra que apunta a hechos cotidianos que se han normalizado, como la trata de personas y la explotación de menores. La escultura recrea el paisaje social al que nos enfrentamos en México a través de una experiencia vicaria sobre la resistencia contenida por la cual pasan las víctimas al ser privadas de sus derechos humanos. La estructura externa de la obra hecha de lámina de acero oxidada restringe el movimiento del mecanismo interno, esta oposición busca el desgaste total de todos sus componentes. La violencia contrarrestada entre ambas estructuras alude al desgaste de los cuerpos hasta el deterioro físico y mental.

Enfardo is a work that points to the social landscape at Mexico that has become normalized, such as human trafficking, the exploitation of minors and enforced disappearance. By means of the sculpture, a vicarious experience is created about the restrained resistance that victims go through when they are deprived of their human rights. By way of an external structure made of oxidized steel sheet, it seeks to wear down the electromechanical system placed inside, evoking the threshold from despair to dissociation through which the victims pass. The counteracted violence between both structures creates the movements and sounds referring to that opposition by hitting the steel walls or releasing tension.
